Spew is vomit
A personal annoyance of mine is when people use the word "spew" for anything but vomit. It's rare that someone can do this without coming across as a lib-uh-ral 19 year old college girl, but I get the sense that Joe Sobran (RIP) must have had a similar annoyance when he turned the tables and used it thusly...
